Reinterpreting the Old Masters

Street Masters was an exhibition that was produced by Sotheby’s at a gallery in the Lower East Side of Manhattan called Fat Free Arts. Artists at this gallery produced on their own derivatives of paintings by the old master painters that were going to be sold in the Sotheby’s Old Masters Auction. The gallery displayed the older paintings alongside the contemporary derivatives. The logo I designed for this event and exhibition was used in evites, lot cards, on Moleskine journals, promotional vidoes, and as a wall vinyl at Sotheby’s.
